By March, 1945 B-24-H #42-94979 Oldest and longest serving 466th BG  to survive the war
Flew over 100 missions without an abort. GCC John Doskocz was awarded the Bronze Star for this achievement.
In total she went through 10 engines and dropped 592,500 lbs. of bombs in 880 combat hour

The airplane was flown back to the U.S. after the war, where there was a great ceremony when it was flown into Willow Run in Michigan, where the airplane had been manufactured.
